From singing competition to recording artist

Ni Ni Khin Zaw is a Myanmar singer and songwriter born in 1991 whose breakthrough came through winning Melody World in 2008. Voice of Vietnam later introduced her to a regional audience through its ASEAN+3 singing competition, placing her Myanmar recording career alongside performers from other participating countries.

The talent-contest victory preceded solo albums and the REDvolution concert series. Her work also moved into television through coaching The Voice Myanmar. Those settings involve different aspects of performance: developing recordings, presenting a live show and working with other singers, rather than a career defined by a single competition result.

Mario and A Ni Yaung

Her official Mario video identifies the debut audio album as a 2013 release, followed by a music-video edition in 2014. The featured song credits Song Oo Hlaing as writer and Mg Mg Thar Myint as director. Album publication, an individual song’s writing and a video’s direction are separate contributions.

Her official full-album upload identifies A Ni Yaung as the second solo album, translates its title as Red and dates the audio CD to 19 July 2015. The track list includes Super Red, Super Sunday and Merry Me, with individual composer credits. The title is not Marlio or Marri, and the 2013 and 2015 releases should not be merged.

Live performance and regional recognition

Ni Ni Khin Zaw’s official chronology places her first REDvolution solo show in 2017 and records three seasons coaching The Voice Myanmar during 2018–2020. These provide distinct live and television settings for her work, beyond a discography alone. The dates describe recorded seasons rather than an assumed continuing coaching appointment.

Regional context comes from the ASEAN+3 Singing Contest organised by Voice of Vietnam. Its account identifies the inaugural competition in Thanh Hoa in 2017 and names Ni Ni Khin Zaw and Vietnam’s Thu Lan as joint second-prize recipients. The Philippines’ Darlin Joy Baje won first prize; Ni Ni should not be described as the contest’s overall winner.

Songwriting and documented later activity

Reporting in September 2024 describes Metta Poh, released for her birthday on 31 August, as a song she wrote. It separately credits music by Thawng Ling and mixing and mastering by Myo Zaw Htet. The example documents songwriting while acknowledging the other contributors involved in producing a recording.

AA Medical’s own record documents her participation with Oramin-G in a March 2025 donation of medicine and money to Yangon’s Hnin Si Gone Aging Home. It is one identifiable charitable event, not evidence that she practises medicine or directs every associated programme. Neither that event nor earlier coaching establishes an unverified current professional appointment.
