How corrections work

Corrections identify the affected page, the inaccurate statement, the corrected information, the review date and the supporting source. Minor spelling or formatting changes do not enter the public log.

What to include in a report

Identify the page and statement, explain the proposed correction and include a reliable supporting source. The editorial team reviews the underlying evidence and updates both the article and its review date when a material change is warranted.
